A full-size double kick built around one idea: skating for the fun of it. At 36.75", the Banantheon gives you a proper longboard footprint with the pop and kick response of a street deck — big enough to stay comfortable on a long push home, lively enough to ollie curbs and pump around the neighbourhood.
The mould keeps things easy underfoot: a radial concave with a crescent micro drop that locks your feet in without fighting them. Underneath, six plies of Canadian maple are sandwiched with two layers of triaxial fibreglass, so the deck holds its snap instead of going soft after a season of abuse.
It is deliberately not a specialist. Run 149mm TKP trucks for the poppiest, most skate-like feel, wedge them for a carvier ride, or bolt on RKP trucks if you want more lean and turn out of it. Tricks, cruising, commuting — it takes all three.
