APS: Animated Polymer System

APS is a very lively compound which offers high rebound with lots of control and lean. This compound will turn 10% to 15% more than the same durometer of other brands. For APS bushings, Riptide recommends tightening your skateboard and longboard kingpin nut to the point where it is difficult to turn the bushing in the bushing set by hand. For lower resistance, use a flat washer and cupped washer for higher resistance.

WFB: World's Fastest Bushings

The WFB compound will often have white residue on the surface due to its unique internal lubrication that does not bond with the urethane. This lubrication is designed to slowly leak eke out of the urethane when in use over a period of 5 years. The result is a reduction in bushing friction which means fast transition, lower rebound, deeper carve and lean compared to APS. WFB will turn 15% to 20% more than the same durometer as other brands. KRANK: Performance Under Pressure

Riptide's highest rebound formulate to date, KranK bushings are controlled by the amount of clamp pressure you subject it to by tightening the kingpin on your sktateboard or longboard truck. Effective range of control ranges from barely snug for loose feel to 2 full turns past snug for the tightest feel. Comparable to other bushings of the same durometer. Works great with flat washers but shines using cupped, precision flat or precision cupped washers.
