An oversized bamboo cruiser for riders who are in no particular hurry. The Low Tide takes the shape of the Fantail and stretches it wider and softer, so every push has a bit of spring to it and rough pavement stops rattling up through your feet.
The flex is the whole point. A bamboo and cross-ply maple core, wrapped in two layers of triaxial fibreglass and finished with walnut veneers top and bottom, gives a deck that loads up under your weight and pushes back. The concave runs long, so your feet settle into the same comfortable spot whether you are rolling around the block or pushing across town.
Wheel wells are cut with TKP trucks in mind — the Stylus 149mm is the natural match — and the whole board is tuned for relaxed everyday speeds rather than bombing hills.
